Responsibilities / Duties
- Understanding of the requirements and the
design of the control system for the given mission;
- Develop the detailed design using UML;
- Implement the software and perform unit
testing;
- Support integration and system testing;
- Write and maintain software
documentation;
- Supporting maintenance of the on-board
software.
Qualifications /
Experience
- A degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or
equivalent;
- Experience in general software development, software
engineering.
Essential Skills
- Software design with UML;
- Software implementation with C++ and Java;
- Source Code Control System (e.g. CVS);
- Software development for the LINUX Platform;
- Advanced user-level knowledge of the LINUX operating
system;
- Good command of the English language.
Desirable Skills
- Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA);
- CppUnit and JUnit;
- Experience in space industry.
Qualities
- Team player;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
